The Pink Rose Ball, established in 2013 by Ms. Melinda Pinder, is a beloved annual event dedicated to supporting those battling cancer. Organized by a committed group of women, now known as the "Magnificent Eight," this year's theme, "Rush for the Cure," draws inspiration from the vibrant Junkanoo.

The Cancer Society of The Bahamas Eleuthera Branch will be hosting their annual beach walk. Community groups, organizations, locals, and visitors can join in the fun to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

This activity takes place yearly on the last Saturday in October.
Registration Fee: $25.00 per person.

Come on down to the Governor's Harbour Homecoming where the best Bahamian and native dishes will be served. Food such as baked macaroni, cracked conch, fried plantain and some good old peas and rice will be on sale. Each stall has something unique and flavorful. 

There will be board games, live local band and performances by some of our Bahamian artists.

The event is organized by the Governor's Harbour Development Association. Funds raised assist with community projects and initiatives for the young and old.

The We Farmer's Market is an initiative established by the One Eleuthera Foundation. The purpose of the farmer's market is to encourage people to purchase locally grown produce, eat healthier and also to be able to plant and harvest their own produce.

The We Farmer's Market occurs the third Saturday of each month.

The Paradise Farms is one of the most special places for family, friends, and visitors to enjoy. Here you will be amazed at the various Christmas light decorations and displays. 
The purpose of this annual drive-thru light show is to raise funds to assist with feeding, and caring for the animals that grow on the farm. The funds also help to assist with renovations, and adding extra to ensure that it lasts for generations to come.

This event begins on December 13th, 2024 (every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday) and ends on, January 12th, 2025.

The New Year’s Junkanoo Rush is a vibrant celebration held every New Year’s Day. The streets of historic New Plymouth come alive with a colorful parade, featuring breathtaking sights and the lively sounds of traditional Bahamian music. Dressed in intricate, handmade costumes, participants showcase energetic dances, igniting the island with an electrifying atmosphere that pulses with excitement.

This event displays locally created crafts from our Eleuthera vendors. There will be a live Bahamian band, junkanoo rush out, fashion show and delicious native food and drinks.

Bring the whole family out and have a great time!

The Eleuthera Winter Residents Reception is The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments, & Aviation's way of demonstrating appreciation to all of our second homeowners and visitors who choose Eleuthera as their home away from home yearly.
This event also allows for first timers to experience a little bit of our local culture through food, local band performances, and Bahamian bush tea sampling.
