The Bahamas Secures Top Accolades in Travel + Leisure’s 2021 “World’s Best Awards”

NASSAU, Bahamas, Sept. 21, 2021 – The Islands of The Bahamas took home several huge wins across various categories in Travel + Leisure’s highly anticipated annual “World’s Best Awards”. The Bahamas’ most beloved Out Islands, including Harbour Island, Eleuthera, Abaco and Exuma, won big in both the “Top 25 Islands in the World” and “The Top 25 Islands in the Caribbean, Bermuda and The Bahamas” categories.

Kamalame Cay Considered a Top Ranked Hotel

The luxurious beach resort, Kamalame Cay, won two “World’s Best Awards” taking the seventh slot in “The Top 100 Hotels in the World”. Kamalame Cay also ranked at the number one resort in the Caribbean, Bermuda and The Bahamas.

Harbour Island and Eleuthera Place

Among the Top Islands in the World It’s no surprise that two of The Bahamas’ most treasured Out Islands landed on “The Top 25 Islands in the World” list. Harbour Island, home to the pink sand beaches and pastel-hued cottages, ranked 17th while its sister island, Eleuthera took home the 23rd slot.

Out Islands Win Big in the “Caribbean, Bermuda and The Bahamas” Category

Among “The Top 25 Islands in the Caribbean, Bermuda and The Bahamas” award, you’ll find Harbour Island ranked as second, Eleuthera ranked as sixth, with Abaco coming in at #10 and Exuma at #12.
