Position: Senior Administrative Associate (Compliance – Vacation Rental & Hotel Units)

The Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation (MOTIA) invites qualified internal applicants to apply for the position of Compliance Associate – Compliance Unit/Customer Service within the Hotel Licensing Department’s Vacation Rental and Hotel Units.

What is the opportunity?

The Compliance Associate serves as a vital link between short-term vacation rental property owners and hotels, the public, and the regulatory process. The Associate ensures that vacation rental properties and hotels are properly registered, documented, and prepared for inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who possesses great human relational skills, is well-organized, tech-savvy, and service-oriented with an appreciation for tourism standards and stakeholder support.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, Public Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience.

Competencies Required:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, online platforms, cloud storage).
  • Strong interpersonal and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
