ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE, REVENUE - HOTEL LICENSING DEPARTMENT

What is the opportunity?

The Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation (MOTIA) invites suitably qualified internal applicants to apply for the position of Administrative Associate, Revenue–Hotel Licensing Department (HLD).

The Administrative Associate in Revenue plays a key role in supporting the financial management and operations of the Hotel Licensing Department. The position is responsible for processing hotel and vacation rental licensing fees, tracking revenues, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate record-keeping in compliance with MOTIA standards. The role also involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support financial accountability and audit readiness.

What will you do?

  • Assist with the processing of licensing fees, payments, and refunds in accordance with established financial procedures.
  • Source and compile supporting documents for the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in OnBase systems and related databases.
  • Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and expenditure tracking.
  • Provide financial support for audits and inspections.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounts and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with MOTIA financial policies, regulations, and audit requirements.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a minimum of five (5) years experience in relevant area.

Competencies Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and maintain well-organized records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, discretion, and accountability.
