Bahamasair wishes to advise the public of the following government approved COVID-19 relief flights:

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Bahamasair will have two weekly scheduled flights (Tuesday and Friday) from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to facilitate the return of Bahamian citizens, residents and those with valid work permits, beginning this Friday, June 12th. 

Flights leaving FLL on Tuesdays will make an initial stop in Freeport before returning to Nassau. Flights leaving FLL on Fridays will return directly to Nassau. 

This schedule will be for the period JUNE 12, 2020 to JUNE 30, 2020. 

TUESDAY

FRIDAY 

Persons wishing to travel must follow established Ministry of Health COVID-19 protocols (details can be found on our website). 

Tickets are priced at $150 (FLL/NAS). 

Bahamasair also advises that persons wishing to travel from New Providence to Fort Lauderdale can confirm bookings on the outbound flights. Flights are available for booking on our website www.bahamasair.com. 

Havana, Cuba

Bahamasair will operate a flight to Havana, Cuba on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, to facilitate the return of Bahamian citizens, residents and those with valid work permits on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. 

Tickets are priced at $239 (HAV/NAS). 

Cuban citizens only are able to book seats on the outbound flight from Nassau to Havana. Passengers must be able to show a valid Cuban passport to board the aircraft. Flights are available for booking on our website www.bahamasair.com. 

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos (TCI) 

Bahamasair will operate on a flight into Providenciales, Turks & Caicos on Thursday, June 11, 2020, to facilitate the return of Bahamian citizens, residents and those with valid work permits on Thursday, June 11, 2020. 

The flight will operate in conjunction with British Airwards to allow Bahamians residing in both Providenciales and Europe (via London Heathrow) the ability to return to The Bahamas by way of TCI.

Turks & Caicos citizens only are able to book seats on the outbound flight from Nassau to Providenciales. Passengers must obtain permission from the Government of Turks & Caicos via email address: travel@turksandcaicos.com and be in possession of a valid Turks & Caicos passport to be able to board the aircraft. 

Tickets are priced at $236 (PLS/NAS). Flights are available for booking on our website www.bahamasair.com.
