The Bahamas Took Center Stage in Toronto, Canada with Immersive 3D Winter Campaign After Record-Breaking Year
NASSAU, Bahamas (23 Feb. 2026) - Following a record year that welcomed 12.5 million visitors in 2025, the highest total ever recorded, The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation brought the warmth of The Bahamas to Toronto through a bold, three-dimensional digital out-of-home campaign designed to inspire winter travel.
The campaign presented The Bahamas as a collection of more than 700 islands and cays, including 16 island destinations, each offering its own identity, culture and experiences. Anchored in the A Lifetime of Islands platform, the campaign spotlighted Lenny Kravitz and his anthemic hit Fly Away, emphasizing that The Bahamas was more than a single getaway—it was a place of discovery that invited travelers to return and explore over a lifetime of visits.
The immersive 3D digital billboard appeared at Yonge-Dundas Square, one of Canada’s most visible public spaces, running from 5 January to 1 February 2026. The animated creative encouraged passersby to pause, look up and imagine clear waters, open skies and island life, offering a striking contrast to winter.
Toronto marked the second winter digital out-of-home display under the A Lifetime of Islands campaign, following the first activation at Aventura Mall in December.
In 2025, Air Canada increased airlift to The Bahamas by 50 percent, adding weekly service from Ottawa and Halifax in December, while Porter Airlines, recently ranked No. 1 globally for Best Economy Class by USA TODAY 10Best, launched twice-weekly service from Ottawa.
As winter continued across Canada, the Toronto campaign served as a reminder of what lay just a few hours south. Clear waters. Open skies. A chain of islands, each with its own rhythm and story. The Bahamas invited travelers to return and discover something new with every visit.
