The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism Launches "Dock Anchor & Discover" Campaign, Spotlighting the Destination's Full Yachting Ecosystem to Owners, Brokers and Captains

NASSAU, Bahamas (29th September 2026) – As part of its ongoing strategy to continue to grow the destination's share of the global superyacht market, The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism (BMOT) moved to cement The Bahamas' position as more than a destination, but a superyacht hub, at the 35th Monaco Yacht Show, held 23–26 September. The expanded presence marked a strategic move in the European market, one primed to generate new business for the destination.

At the centre of that strategy was the launch of the "Dock Anchor & Discover" campaign, which showcases the diverse products, services and experiences The Bahamas has to offer, speaking to yachting and well beyond it.

Led by the Honourable Randy Rolle, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry's delegation hosted guests at Stand PP26 in the prestigious Upper Deck Lounge, presenting the destination's full yachting ecosystem, from world-class marinas and FBOs to on-demand services such as provisioning and luxury concierge offerings. United Shipping, The Agency Shipping & Logistics, Corcoran C.A. Christie and Four Seasons Ocean Club joined the Ministry at the stand.

Parliamentary Secretary Rolle also led meetings with brokers, yacht owners and captains, strengthening the relationships needed to capture a greater share of the global superyacht market.

"Impact, not just visibility, is what brought The Bahamas to Monaco this year," said Parliamentary Secretary Rolle. "We have the infrastructure, the proximity and the unmatched natural beauty to serve as a year-round destination hub, and we have made it simpler for yachts to come and experience all of it. More boaters are choosing our marinas this year than last, and Monaco was about making The Bahamas not only top of mind but the preferred choice for owners, captains and industry leaders."

Over the four days, the Bahamian delegation networked across a show floor of some 560 exhibitors, from superyacht builders and brokers to designers and equipment suppliers, and took part in the launches of new industry initiatives, all while highlighting the destination's diverse cruising grounds as the ultimate playground for superyacht exploration.

Supporting this push, the Ministry highlighted a simpler entry process introduced on 1 April 2026, which offers 30-day, six-month and 12-month cruising permits, with no anchorage fees for marina-berthed vessels.

The Ministry's superyacht approach is built on strategic partnerships and in-market events that give the destination direct access to owners and decision-makers. With its proximity to U.S. gateways and diverse island cruising itineraries, The Bahamas was positioned in Monaco as an unrivalled superyacht experience for owners, brokers and captains from around the world.
