ALL CLEAR NOTICE: THE ISLANDS OF THE BAHAMAS
Nassau, Bahamas, 30 September 2025- The Bahamas Department of Meteorology, in coordination with the Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Authority, has issued the All Clear for the entire Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
An All Clear means that all tropical storm and hurricane watches and warnings have been discontinued for the entire Bahamas. As of 10:00 a.m. this morning, Tuesday, September 30, airports across the country have resumed normal operations. This includes Grand Bahama International Airport, and airports throughout the Northern Bahamas, including Abaco and Eleuthera. Following thorough assessments, it has been confirmed that there was no significant damage apart from isolated flooding, and all infrastructure, ports, and hotels remain open for business.
Residents and visitors are reminded to exercise standard caution in low-lying areas where minor flooding may still be present.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, the Hon. I. Chester Cooper, confirmed that with the All Clear issued, travel across The Bahamas can continue safely. He noted that airports are open, flights are resuming, and visitors can move with confidence throughout the islands, adding that the government remains committed to ensuring a safe and seamless experience for everyone enjoying The Bahamas.
Travelers are advised to remain in contact with their airlines and monitor LPIA’s official website, www.nassaulpia.com, along with the relevant social media channels, for the latest updates.
