Greenwood Beach Resort will be holding its first Kiteboarding event in Cat Island. This is a surface water sport, combining aspects of wakeboarding, snowboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, skateboarding, and gymnastics into one extreme sport.

Sports enthusiasts have been gathering at Taino Beach in Lucaya every year since 1986 for a grueling 0.5 mile (1k) swim, 20 mile (25k) bike ride and 3.5 mile (5k) run. Starting time for the Conchman is 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for the Iron Kids Race.
A five(5) mile Fun Run/Walk will be held starting at the cork tree in James Cistern to the Governor's Harbour International Airport runway and back.
