Come and enjoy a fun filled day of Bahamian Culture as you dance the night away to the pulsating sounds of goat skin drums,cowbells and whistles.
This event is in honour of Mr. Daniel Decosta and begins at 12 noon.
The Junkanoo parade begins at 7:00 p.m.
These exhibitions at The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) showcase the exceptional works of renowned master Bahamian artist, Chan Pratt, and mid-career artist Tessa Whitehead. They both challenge creative expression, inspire conversation, and evoke strong emotional responses from viewers.
The fair opens at noon on Saturday and runs until midnight with music throughout the evening, including performances by Geno D, Sammy Star, Rick Carey, Dyson Knight, Spank Band, Rhythm Band, Sonovia Pierre, Osano Neely and Funky D. Both the Royal Bahamas Police Band and Royal Bahamas Defence Force Band will perform with the Defence Force expecting to share a musical tribute to Sir Sidney Poitier that they wrote for his recent 92nd birthday.
This event will be showcasing works by more than 25 artists and artisans and will feature art from Mr. Eddie Minnis and family. You can also enjoy a selection of fine wines, signature bites, live performances and art experiences.

Lady Ingrid Darling will be your hostess for this event, which will be a different take on our usual monthly tea party. You can sample Bahamian 'bush' teas and locally-made sandwiches and pastries, while enjoying Bahamian storytelling, live music, and a fashion show by Bahamian designers.

During the entire month of January, the Heritage Tour Experience provides a unique reenactment of the event with packages for walk-ins and Bahamian residents only. Park and beach access are included, and you also have the option to add lunch. Performances will take place at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. each day.
This event, hosted by The New Beach Club, allows participants to celebrate life, family, and friends, by just having a 'Down Home' good time. There will be special pricing for food and drinks, plus games, competitions, music, dancing and a bonfire with Smores.
At Pinder’s production of prizes and surprises, you can enjoy food, drinks, games, and Bahamian entertainment, while having a Halloween fun time.
The youth groups and youth organizations of Churches on the island host a day of food, games, competition, and fun.
