Local residents and visitors from other islands come together to interact and enjoy cultural activities, Bahamian music, food, drinks and games.

The Bahamas’ Premier Agricultural Event, where agriculture, marine resources, culture, and innovation come together in one dynamic experience. Visitors can look forward to hands-on backyard farming experiences, hydroponics and livestock masterclasses, marine discovery exhibits, agricultural talks and demonstrations, a marketplace featuring 100+ Bahamian artisans, live culinary showcases by local chefs, Junkanoo rush outs, school bands, and a fun-filled kiddie adventure zone for the entire family.

This annual festival is designed to spotlight Spanish Wells' fishing industry and enhance the visitor experience with authentically Bahamian exhibits.  It features fun fishing tournaments; delicious food and drinks for purchase: seafood dishes like lobster thermidor, conch and rice, conch salad, conch fritters and fried fish, and local sweets such as homemade coconut ice cream, coconut pies, guava duff and more; live entertainment; games including hoopla and darts; and vendors will be offering locally made shell jewelry. The event culminates with a fireworks display.

The Bannerman Town Festival is a great time for friends, family, and visitors to come out on the weekend and have a great time.
There will be delicious native food, ice-cold beverages, desserts, live entertainment, and games.
