Pirate's Well Homecoming Festival
This annual festival encourages visitors and descendants alike to explore the town's unique culture, in the spirit of love and solidarity. Festivities include cultural shows, a church service, local dance, a mini Junkanoo parade, etc.
Abraham’s Bay Homecoming Festival
This event is held on the bay and is geared towards the exploration and development of the town's rich culture. Activities resemble the traditional family reunion, where people renew ancestral links, and include a beach picnic, cookout, sporting events, tournament games such as dominoes, cultural/talent show, disco dancing in the evenings, a church service and gospel concert on Sunday.
Barraterre Homecoming Festival & Regatta
This festival is held each year on the weekend of the Whit Monday holiday. It features three days of sailing with Class 'C' sloops, games like Hoopla, quadrille dancing, plaiting of the Maypole, delicious native dishes on sale, native crafts on display, Rake and Scrape music, plus other exciting entertainment, including the Marching Band and a Talent Show.
Easter Egg Hunt
The Kiwanis Club hosts this annual Easter Egg Hunt, which is open to all children. Other activities include a hat-making contest and kids’ relays.
