Elite Global Earth Pageant Queens Visit GBI & Appoints MOTA Employee an Ambassador

On Friday, August 18th, a total of fifteen beauty queens from the Elite Global Earth Pageant Franchise disembarked the Carnival Ecstasy to enjoy a fun filled day on Grand Bahama Island.

The day trip, which was presented as a gift from the organization to the reigning queens for their success in the franchise’s most recent pageants, was organized primarily by Kenisha Bethel, Guest Services, Ministry of Tourism & Aviation (MOTA), along with other MOTA officials.

The group was received by several local beauty queens along with representatives from the Ministry of Tourism & Aviation. Following the short welcome reception, the group participated in a tour of the island as well as an afternoon beach experience at Manta Ray Beach Club.

In addition to their leisurely visit to Grand Bahama Island, the group came with the intent to crown Ms. Bethel as their newest Elite Global Earth Ambassador.

The title bestowed on Ms. Bethel will allow her to travel to Las Vegas Nevada to join the Elite Global Earth Pageant team as an Ambassador for the duration of their stay. As executives of the franchise crowned Ms. Bethel, they showered her with praises for her hard work, dedication, organizational skills, and warm spirit.

Bethel said that " For me, I wasn't expecting this, it was a really, really good surprise, they got me good! I enjoy doing what I do and helping people, so I'm grateful that they've recognized me for all the work that I've been doing".

The Elite Global Earth Pageant was created to celebrate the "Success a woman has achieved as a wife, mother, daughter, friend and community advocate" and Ms. Bethel is grateful for the opportunity to work closely with the organization.

She said that she looks forward to “Promoting the sisterhood of pageantry, awareness for special causes and the preservation of our Mother Earth” which is mandated by the Elite Global Earth Pageant.
