This event is held to raise revenue for the residents and bring together locals and visitors for a time of enjoyment.
The Tarpum Bay festival is a way to encourage descendants to come together and have an enjoyable time with family, friends, and visitors in the area. There is live entertainment, junkanoo rush-outs, and delicious native dishes and items on sale.
The descendants of Hatchet Bay Eleuthera come together to raise funds to assist the settlement with upgrades and community activities for the inhabitants.
Locals and visitors get the opportunity to enjoy a variety of dishes prepared using conch. This is also an enjoyable time for the locals and visitors to come out and enjoy the festivities.
This activity needs all hands-on deck to assist with cleaning up areas such as Three Island Dock, Palmetto Point Dump, and Central Eleuthera.
Join the folks at the Hatchet Bay Clinic as they enjoy a day of fun walking, running, and riding to encourage people within the community to practice healthy living.
This event is in celebration of CTI’s anniversary. There will be a junkanoo rush-out, local farmers and artisans with their products and produce on display, delicious food, fun and games for everyone.
The Pineapple Festival is a yearly celebration in the Gregory Town, Eleuthera area. During this time descendants return home to visit relatives and friends that they haven't seen in a long time. This is a time when the pineapple farmers get a chance to see their great harvest on display in a variety of ways. This also demonstrates the determination of our local farmers to keep the pineapple crop growing on our island for generations to come.
The market is open every Thursday from 10:00am -3:00pm and offers an assortment of uniquely Bahamian products such as strawbags, hats, mats, shell jewelry, octis organics teas, seasonings and much more.
