Back to da' Cay Regatta is the perfect way to kick off Eleuthera’s 2026 event season. This vibrant celebration offers locals and visitors an authentic taste of Bahamian culture, featuring live performances by Bahamian artists and local bands. Guests can indulge in a variety of traditional Bahamian and native dishes, creating a true cultural and culinary experience by the sea.

This event is an annual tradition of hauling Jack fish. Activities include games, live entertainment, and local performances. 
There will be delicious native food, drinks, and desserts on sale.

The Bigga Mo's Memorial weekend is a major event held on Eleuthera every year in memory of Mr. Muqtasid Thompson. Mr. Muqtasid Thompson was instrumental throughout the whole island, especially Governor's Harbour. He had a great talent for hosting some of the best events on Eleuthera at the family owned Ronnies Hi-D-Way, he was able to bring in local and international artists to perform on the stage. Young adults and middle aged looked forward to being greeted by him at the door or sitting on the steps.

The descendants of Hatchet Bay Eleuthera come together to raise funds to assist the settlement with upgrades and community activities for the inhabitants. 
Activities include live entertainment by Bahamian Artists, fashion shows, and various competitions for adults and children. 
A wide variety of food, beverages, desserts, and sweets are on sale at the Bay Fest.

The North Eleuthera District will be hosting a Gospel Under the Stars event in celebration of The Bahamas 52^nd Bahamas Independence holiday.

Bring the entire family out to enjoy a fun and exciting 52nd Bahamas Independence down at the Lower Bogue Homecoming site. 
There will be fun games and interactions for family and friends of all ages. 

The Local Government Township of James Cistern will be hosting The Bahamas' 52nd Independence Day celebrations for the community and visitors. 
There will be an opening ceremony, cultural and fashion shows, downhome delicious food and drinks, and fireworks display. 

Come out and join the South Eleuthera District 52nd Bahamas Independence Church Service.
