The 10th annual Cat Island Earth Day Festival will take place on Saturday, April 22nd at the Cultural and Heritage Site at New Bight from 1 to 5 pm.  The event features performances, music, children's games, and an array of booths featuring local artists, crafts, native food, and interactive information on Cat's cultural heritage and environmental initiatives.  Learn about traditional healing based on plants, small island solar initiatives, and the award-winning Solar Tutorial Farms.

A five(5) mile Fun Run/Walk will be held starting at the cork tree in James Cistern to the Governor's Harbour International Airport runway and back. This year is for bragging rights. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be given. All proceeds are donated to the Cancer Society of Eleuthera Branch.
