The third annual Elbow Reef Classic Fishing Tournament is a beloved event that combines the thrill of sport fishing with a meaningful mission. Anglers from near and far converge in Hope Town, competing for top prizes while supporting the ongoing restoration of the historic Elbow Reef Lighthouse. Each cast not only brings excitement but also contributes to preserving this iconic landmark, ensuring it continues to guide sailors through the waters of the Abacos for years to come.

The first Bimini Native Fishing Tournament was held in the early 1950’s by a group of natives who organized the Progressive Sporting Club. This year’s tournament will consist of 3 days of activities from August 3-5, 2023. The opening ceremony will take place at Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina on Thursday evening followed by a full day of fishing on Friday and a half day of fishing on Saturday. The awards and closing ceremony will take place at Bimini Big John’s on Saturday night.
