Back to da' Cay Regatta is the perfect way to kick off Eleuthera’s 2026 event season. A spin off of the 2nd largest Family Island Regatta, the Long Island Mini Regatta events are well attended and supported every year. Locals have turned this collective fund raising activity into a prelude of the main event with competitive sloop sailing races. High energy music, scrumptious local dishes and overall games and entertainment make these Mini Regattas full of good, clean fun and excitement!

Montagu Bay

Local Nassau and family island class 'A' and 'E' native sloops will compete in a series of races in the waters off Montagu Bay. It features sculling, racing, and sailing, plus the popular ‘Catch Me If You Can’ Race, where the class 'A' sloops try to catch a class 'B' sloop.

The competition starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
