This great celebration is held annually on Good Friday. It begins with a parade, followed by a Gospel Rally that features church choirs, praise teams, dance, and Bahamian Gospel artists.
This event is in a class all by itself! Come join in the fun during this blissful summer time where, in addition to the 'C' class boat races, you can enjoy live Bahamian musical performances that will get your feet tapping, games that will get your heart pumping, and Bahamian food and beverages to satisfy all your cravings, and more.
This weekend long inter-island Junkanoo and singing band competition will focus on our native music (calypso and rake & scrape).
Music is provided by a variety of local artists. Admission is free and the event is kid friendly.
This festival takes place on the waterfront, and is a time when all the artists of Andros, plus a few from Nassau, come together to showcase exquisite Bahamian items made from wood, straw, and shells. You can also enjoy local foods and Bahamian music.
Come join us this holiday weekend for our Annual Easter Tournament. Experience the excitement of our Fishing, Basketball, Pool and Dominoes Tournaments. There will be other activities, including Talent & Beauty Pageant, Easter Egg Hunt, Plaiting of the Maypole, Climbing of the Greasy Pole, Gospel Explosion (Easter Sunday), Cook-Out, Live D.J. entertainment at Club Scorpion, and much much more. Expect prizes and lots of surprises ....As you get to the point...stick to the point in Little Black Point.
Come and experience the chance to be a part of an amazing cause, to save and support the island of Abaco’s six National Parks. The event is being held at the beautiful Abaco Beach Resort Marque, where many unique and fine Bahamian creations are on display. Highlights of this year’s event will be a host of Bahamian artists and artisans, a silent auction, a Bahamian Heritage Lecture Series, and live entertainment.
This event is organized and sponsored by the One Eleuthera Foundation, and features dance, music, art, culture, heritage design advocacy, education, action, service, friendship and the connection of communities.
