The purpose of this event is to foster a closer relationship with the descendants and the community of James Cistern. Activities include live band performances, cultural show, miss and little miss beauty pageant, Bahamian food and drinks.

This is an appreciation reception where the local people and industry partners get the opportunity to interact with the Winter Residents and visitor's at this time. The highlights of this event will be our culture inclusive of authentically Bahamian crafts, food and music.
This annual festival is designed to spotlight Spanish Wells' fishing industry and enhance the visitor experience with authentically Bahamian exhibits. It features fun fishing tournaments; delicious food and drinks for purchase: seafood dishes like lobster thermidor, conch and rice, conch salad, conch fritters and fried fish, and local sweets such as homemade coconut ice cream, coconut pies, guava duff and more; live entertainment; games including hoopla and darts; and vendors will be offering locally made shell jewelry. The event culminates with a fireworks display.
Goombay Jamboree By The Sea is a cultural event which features authentic Bahamian arts and crafts, music, dance, food, drinks, souvenirs, kiddies corner and water sports. This event is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m.
This annual festival is designed to provide an impressive display for visitors and locals by decorating each tree on Bay Street with festive white Christmas lights. Lighting of the trees takes place on the first Friday in December. There is also a live band performance followed by a Junkanoo rush-out ending the night!
The purpose of this initiative is to clean up and beautify the entire Island, in addition to creating community awareness about the benefits of a clean environment; it helps to protect the destination's natural resources and provide an attractive, safe destination for visitors.
This festival was designed to bring nationals and visitors to Wemyss Bight to celebrate and reminisce about bygone days. It features talent shows, Bahamian food and drinks, live band performances and local crafts.
Descendants of Tarpum Bay and visitors gather for fun activities that will include a Gospel Concert, Hat Show, Junkanoo rush-out and Competition, cultural/talent shows, native food and drinks. Proceeds will go towards community projects.
