Designed as one of the finest fishing tournaments and cultural festivals, this exciting competition is judged based on the most snappers caught by weight, the largest snapper caught, fish scaling and best seasoned fish. As the snapper fish is one of the most abundant fishes in the Bahamas, this annual event offers good times for all!

Every Friday Night the Governor's Harbour Development Association holds a Fish Fry at Anchor Bay in Governor's Harbour. This event attracts many tourists and locals every week. Proceeds from the event benefit the annual Homecoming and various projects within the community.
Locals gather every week to dance and enjoy good ole Bahamian food prepared by ladies in the community. Everyone is welcome to join in. The event runs until 12:00 midnight.

Visitors can experience Carnival locally, with a street party, costume and dance contest, food, and games. The fun takes place 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.
3rd Annual Bimini Bread & Seafood Cook-Off, this event provides an opportunity for the Biminites and industry Partners to showcase what is unique about the Bimini Breads and Seafood preparation to the many guest expected for the start of the Tourist season.
This event was designed to promote the Deep Creek settlement and to share its cultural heritage with the younger members of the community, descendants and visitors. It offers down home cooking, Rake and Scrape music, talent shows, arts and craft.
