The Office of the Prime Minister Grand Bahama, in keeping with its mandate to develop Grand Bahama as a Technology Hub, building upon the foundation of last year's Tech Conference and the Venture Conference held earlier this year, will host its 2nd Grand Bahama Technology Summit; which will be held 14th -16th November, 2018 at the Grand Lucayan Convention Center.

In an effort to resolve the issue of Marine Debris, the Ocean Conservancy initiated the International Coastal Cleanup.
The cleanup event, focuses on collecting data on trash collected to find the source of marine debris.
This event takes place every year, the 3rd Saturday in September.

This exciting Homecoming Festival for the community of Pelican Point is held annually on Easter Monday.
Each year the festival attracts hundreds of visitors to the eastern end of the island to enjoy unlimited combinations of coconut creations.
The art of the coconut will be displayed in items including but not be limited to, coconut jimmy, coconut tart, jams and preserves and the Bahamian specialty, Gully Wash! Bahamian arts and crafts and coconut jewelry will also be available.

Coastal Awareness Month is designed to educate the community on the importance of protecting the environment and the coastline. Throughout the month of April, Bahamians are educated about the islands' natural resources and sustainability. The Coastal Awareness Team cleans beaches, harbors and marinas.
