Leg Three of The Abaco Diamond Series
This family oriented deep sea and bottom fishing tournament has been around for the past thirty plus years. This event attracts fishing enthusiasts to Abaco to participate, along with the local fishing devotees. The tournament is for all levels of fishing capabilities: all age groups are welcome to participate.
This release-only billfish tournament, organized by Chub Cay Club, will be held on the weekend after Easter. It will be capped at 20 boats, and only Club members and a very limited number of guests will be allowed to participate. There is usually great fishing in the area at that time of year.
This no-rules tournament is organized by the Great Harbour Cay Development Group (Great Harbour Cay Marina) and attracts up to 40 boats from Florida and Georgia, with a number of talented fishermen who are just out to have a little fun. It will also include art, souvenirs, food, music, and dancing.
Times indicated are for lines in the water and weigh-ins on Friday and Saturday. The tournament will begin with a Captains' meeting on Thursday evening and there will be cocktail/dinner events on the other days.
This is the first tournament of its kind to take place at the resort, and 100+ anglers are expected to participate. The host will be Charter Boat Captain, Chase Camacho.
The Bimini Sands is at it again, come and join in the catch registration$1750.00 per boat includes up to 4 anglers (including Captain). This tournament is designed to foster a competitive angling atmosphere in pursuit of a specific species of fish.

Wahoo are a favorite among fishermen and are plentiful in the waters surrounding Bimini. More than 100 anglers are expected to make the journey to South Bimini and will be some of the first to use Bimini Sands’ brand new amenities, including a beachside infinity pool and their new Oceanfront Pavilion Bar and Grill.
This event is an annual tradition of hauling jacks by net in small boats as a team iniatiative. The onshore activities include live band performances, Bahamian food, drinks and cultural show.
This fun-filled and authentic Bahamian fishing tournament, led by longtime Bimini Big Game Club dockmaster, Captain Robbie Smith, has drawn thousands of anglers to the island since its inception. It has become an annual tradition for many, attracting a number of world-class anglers each year, who enjoy the sport of Wahoo fishing in the waters of Bimini.
