This festival takes place on the waterfront, and is a time when all the artists of Andros, plus a few from Nassau, come together to showcase exquisite Bahamian items made from wood, straw, and shells. You can also enjoy local foods and Bahamian music.

Nicholl’s Town North Andros
This biweekly market showcases a wide range of 'true true' Bahamian handmade products for sale, including straw items, jewelry, paintings, ceramics, music, clothing, pet wares, local fruit popsicles and drinks, and so much more!
Every Friday Night the Governor's Harbour Development Association holds a Fish Fry at Anchor Bay in Governor's Harbour. This event attracts many tourists and locals every week. Proceeds from the event benefit the annual Homecoming and various projects within the community.
Every Friday, you can enjoy a variety of grilled meats and drinks at the Great Harbour Cay Marina.
Locals gather every week to dance and enjoy good ole Bahamian food prepared by ladies in the community. Everyone is welcome to join in. The event runs until 12:00 midnight.
The Authentically Bahamian Marketplace, sponsored by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, features handmade Bahamian Craft and Souvenir products. It is held each Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., at Pompey Square, in downtown Nassau.
