This event will also feature a Junkanoo rush-out battle of the High School Bands between Central Eleuthera and Preston Albury High School Bands, and the guest speaker will be Rev. Bishop William Thompson.
This weekend long inter-island Junkanoo and singing band competition will focus on our native music (calypso and rake & scrape).
This festival takes place on the waterfront, and is a time when all the artists of Andros, plus a few from Nassau, come together to showcase exquisite Bahamian items made from wood, straw, and shells. You can also enjoy local foods and Bahamian music.
