Creative Nassau Market

This biweekly market showcases a wide range of 'true true' Bahamian handmade products for sale, including straw items, jewelry, paintings, ceramics, music, clothing, pet wares, local fruit popsicles and drinks, and so much more!

It is organized by "Creative Nassau" in  collaboration with the Downtown Nassau Partnership. Creative Nassau is a non-profit organization which obtained the prestigious UNESCO Creative Cities designation for the City of Nassau as a City of Crafts and Folk Arts in 2014.

The market closes at 5:00 p.m.

Changing of the Guard
A tradition since 1958, the Ceremony features the world-renowned Royal Bahamas Police Force Marching Band and Royal Bahamas Defense Force Guards. It is held every second Friday each month, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony is normally 20 minutes.

Every Friday Night the Governor's Harbour Development Association holds a Fish Fry at Anchor Bay in Governor's Harbour. This event attracts many tourists and locals every week. Proceeds from the event benefit the annual Homecoming and various projects within the community.

People attending the first Eleuthera Farmer's Market & Craft Show
The goal of the farmers’ market is to showcase all that Eleuthera has to offer, from the farm to the local handmade crafts. It is held on the first and third Saturday of the month.
