A Taste of Central Eleuthera

This annual event is spearheaded by the five Methodist Churches in the Central Eleuthera Region of The Bahamas Conference of the Methodist Church. The aroma of delicious native dishes, mouth watering deserts and an assortment of drinks and teas will fill the air and the temptation to taste everything will be hard to resist. In addition to tasting all of the scrumptious food you can also purchase authentically Bahamian crafts, paintings and jewellery. This exciting festival attracts locals and visitors, for a down home flavor filled experience.

Fish Fry at Anchor Bay

Every Friday Night the Governor's Harbour Development Association holds a Fish Fry at Anchor Bay in Governor's Harbour. This event attracts many tourists and locals every week. Proceeds from the event benefit the annual Homecoming and various projects within the community.

Fishermen's Fest

This annual event is designed to spotlight Spanish Well's fishing industry and enhance the visitor experience. It features fishing tournaments, cycling race, live entertainment, games, delicious seafood dishes and drinks. Vendours will be selling locally made shell jewelry.
