This event welcomes back all of our homeowners who return to the island every year for sunshine, leaving the snow behind. Also Hotel Guests who have been visiting the Island every year at this time. It will be held at our San Salvador Tourist Office.
This annual celebration is to express gratitude for the contributions made by the winter residents and visitors to the island every year.
Promoted by the Ministry of Tourism, this event is held annually in efforts of allowing the local People-to-People ambassadors to mix and mingle with the visitors and winter residents.
On this occasion, winter residents and locals come together in celebration and exchange of various cultures, to foster a stronger bond between them, and to encourage Winter Residents who live in Andros to promote Andros and The Bahamas as a number one tourist destination.
This reception is held in honor of our Second-home Owners, and will feature a variety of Pot Luck dishes prepared by them and the locals. There will be Junkanoo and cultural performances and gift bags will be presented to the Second-home Owners. R. N.
