Goombay Summer Festival 2019

The Goombay Summer Festival is an annual event held in the month of August by the Ministry of Tourism, it's main focus is to promote and showcase everything Bahamian inclusive of our music, the delicious down home dishes, our bush teas, fashion display and the authentic Bahamian arts & crafts.  There will be Live Entertainment, Fire Dancing, Rake-N-Scrape, Games and much more.

Locals and visitors gather in Cockburn Town at the Almond Tree Park to sing carols and see performances by local talent. The grand finale is when the park is transformed with thousands of Christmas lights and the Christmas tree is lit.
