Attend a tea party at the historic Government House in Nassau, and be greeted by the Governor General. The tea is hosted by various prominent Bahamian women, and you can enjoy local bush teas, live music, view a fashion show by local designers and sample locally made sandwiches and pastries.
Locals gather every week to dance and enjoy good ole Bahamian food prepared by ladies in the community. Everyone is welcome to join in. The event runs until 12:00 midnight.
Every Friday Night the Governor's Harbour Development Association holds a Fish Fry at Anchor Bay in Governor's Harbour. This event attracts many tourists and locals every week. Proceeds from the event benefit the annual Homecoming and various projects within the community.

First introduced in 1988, this annual festival is a celebration of the tradition of pineapple farming in Eleuthera, and honors the pineapple farmers for their outstanding contributions to the community.

This event was designed to promote the Deep Creek settlement and to share its cultural heritage with the younger members of the community, descendants and visitors. It offers down home cooking, Rake and Scrape music, talent shows, arts and craft.
