NASSAU, Bahamas, September 1, 2020 – As residents, businesses and visitors throughout The Islands of The Bahamas continue to follow stringent orders and guidelines to curb the spread of COVID-19, Prime Minister, The Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis, has issued updated measures and protocols allowing for the reopening of additional businesses and services.
The Office of the Prime Minister wishes to advise that a 10pm – 5am curfew and all provisions as outlined in the Emergency (COVID 19 Pandemic) (Storm Preparedness) Order, 2020 will apply to the islands of Acklins and Crooked Island, effective immediately.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas notes travel restrictions towards The Bahamas recently imposed by the United States and other nations as local incidences of COVID-19 cases increase.
