Funds raised during the event assist with initiatives and other activities on the island.

This event encourages locals and visitors to come out and enjoy delicious native dishes, desserts, live entertainment, and activities for the young and old.

Funds raised during the event go towards enhancing the James Cistern area and assisting with initiatives throughout the island.

Fish Fry at Anchor Bay

The Governors Harbour Fish Fry is the place to be every Friday evening when on the island of Eleuthera. Locals and visitors enjoy having down-home food such as fried Jack or Snapper fish, Bbq chicken, or pork chops with sides such as peas and rice, baked macaroni, cole-slaw, and potato salad.

PALMETTO POINT HOMECOMING

The Palmetto Point Homecoming is held during the week of the Whit Monday holiday. This event encourages people on the island to come out and enjoy good times with family and friends. This is also a great time to plan a vacation or family reunion.

There will be fun, food, live entertainment, and games for everyone.

We Farmer’s Market

The We Farmer's Market is an initiative established by the One Eleuthera Foundation. The purpose of the farmer's market is to encourage people to purchase locally grown produce, eat healthier and also to be able to plant and harvest their own produce.

The We Farmer's Market occurs the third Saturday of each month.

Annual Deep Creek Conch Fest

Locals and visitors get the opportunity to enjoy a variety of dishes prepared using conch. This is also an enjoyable time for the locals and visitors to come out and enjoy the festivities.

Pineapple Festival

The Pineapple Festival is a yearly celebration in the Gregory Town, Eleuthera area. During this time descendants return home to visit relatives and friends that they haven't seen in a long time. This is a time when the pineapple farmers get a chance to see their great harvest on display in a variety of ways. This also demonstrates the determination of our local farmers to keep the pineapple crop growing on our island for generations to come.

SAVANNAH SOUND HOMECOMING

The homecoming is a great way to welcome many domestic and international visitors during The Bahamas Independence week of celebrations.
There will be local performances, live entertainment by Bahamian artists, fun, food, and games for everyone.

The Bluff Eleuthera Homecoming

The Bluff Homecoming is a happy time for family and friends. Everyone on the island can come out and enjoy themselves.
There will be live entertainment by various Bahamian artists and bands. Lots of native food and mixed drinks will be on sale.

3RD ANNUAL BEACH WALK

The Cancer Society of The Bahamas Eleuthera Branch will be hosting their annual beach walk. Community groups, organizations, locals, and visitors can join in the fun to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

This activity takes place yearly on the last Saturday in October.
Registration Fee: $25.00 per person.
