Television movie now known by Bahamian name

A feature film is set to add to the notoriety of a famous Eleuthera landmark.

Film producers will take the name of the Glass Window Bridge around the world after adopting the name of the bridge as the title of their latest film. The film was originally entitled The Troubador when it was shot on location in Eleuthera in 2009. However, the principals of Hanna Rose Productions were so captivated by the scenery of the Eleuthera landmark that they decided to name the film, The Glass Window.

The made-for-television movie is expected to air in over 30 markets in the USA during the Easter season. The film was shot at locations in Eleuthera and Tampa, Florida during November 2009.

The production company is now in development of the DVD, which will be available in stores throughout Florida after the Easter air dates. The Glass Window is an inspirational film about climbing the corporate ladder and living the fast life. In the movie, a successful business professional is forced to confront his true purpose. He travels from Manhattan to the Carolina coast and on to the Bahamas, where he finds the glass window.

The film, which is two hours long with closed captioned, has a broadcast window of April 1 – 30, 2011.
