We are committed to the idea that things Bahamian must be at the core of all of our products and promotions as we continue to differentiate ourselves from competitors and also win the the support of the local population for our plans.

We realize that the absence of the spirit of The Bahamas in the product experience is the greatest internal threat to our success in the next few years.

Moreover we are cognizant that this threat is magnified when we become so focused on the elimination of errors in the current quality movement that we forget to encourage entrepreneurial activity that is so vital to the life of tourism.

The Ministry undertakes to minimize and, where possible, eliminate the external threats such as the continued perception of our offering poor value for money; absence of a strong, well distributed base of group business at the large resorts in Nassau/Paradise Island, and the consequent rampant reductions in price; and the lack of awareness of the tourism product of Grand Bahama Island and The Out Islands.
