Famous Georgia pastor, church consider Bahamas
Recently representatives of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Inc, headed by Bishop Eddie Long, paid a courtesy call on Minister of Tourism and Aviation Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace as the church considers holding large-scale conferences in The Islands Of The Bahamas.
Elder Linda Vega said that Bishop Long loves the Bahamas and it’s a second home. Located in the heart of DeKalb County, Georgia, in the city of Lithonia, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church impacts the community through countless outreach programs and community-empowering projects orchestrated by Bishop Long. The church has a membership of almost 25,000.
The hope is for the church to hold its conferences in the Bahamas , which would bring some 1,800 persons to our shores. Minister Vanderpool –Wallace was also presented with one of Bishop Long’s bestselling books “60 Seconds to Greatness”
Minister Vanderpool-Wallace said that he is delighted to have them in the Bahamas and welcomes them to visit any of our 700 islands and cays and create a meaningful experience.
