This event is organized by CIBC First Caribbean Bank and proceeds will assist cancer care organizations with their efforts to create awareness, provide education, research advocacy, prevention, care and a cure for cancer.
Ride for Hope designated focus is cancer and it was established for the purpose of raising money to support initiatives related to health, wellness and human development in The Bahamas. The organization flagship fundraiser is "The Ride for Hope" - now a twelve year old bike-a-thon. The event includes a weekend full of events, riding, music and great weather. Without exception, every dollar raised by participants are applied to program support.

This event is organized by community leaders to encourage exercise for maintaining healthy bodies, and to clean up harmful debris from the beaches to preserve their pristine beauty. Numerous groups comb the beaches for plastic, cans and other refuse items that are harmful to humans, beach, and sea life. After that, there is a fun picnic with eats, drinks, and games.
The Fun, Run Walk starts from R. N. Gomez School in Bullock's Harbour, ending at Dannenberg Beach. Prizes are given to the top three winners in each category.
