This series of two summer festivals is organized by the Abaco Tourist Office to showcase the vibrant and exciting Bahamian culture. Both locals and tourist have the opportunity to enjoy delicious local foods, great entertainment, Junkanoo rush-outs, beautiful local crafts, and a host of other cultural presentations.

Local residents of John Millars, Bannerman Town and visitors from other islands come together to interact and enjoy cultural activities, Bahamian music, food, drinks and games.
Every Friday Night the Governor's Harbour Development Association holds a Fish Fry at Anchor Bay in Governor's Harbour. This event attracts many tourists and locals every week. Proceeds from the event benefit the annual Homecoming and various projects within the community.
Locals gather every week to dance and enjoy good ole Bahamian food prepared by ladies in the community. Everyone is welcome to join in. The event runs until 12:00 midnight.
This festival will feature all aspects of Bahamian culture, from music to dance, food, arts, and poetry, plus Bahamian past-time competitions.The event is organized by The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and The Berry Islands Tourism Advisory Board.

This event celebrates the community of Hatchet Bay, its heritage and culture, with a goal to foster a closer relationship with its descendants. Activities include marching band performances, worship, a Little Miss Hatchet Bay Beauty Pageant and games.
