FRIENDS Reef Ball: Hope Town

The Anuual Reef Ball is held in recognition of persons who have made it their duty to protect and sustain the environment. Profits are made through live and silent auctions and raffle sales. The event provides a great music experience, comfortable atmosphere, and most importantly mouthwatering food. 

BREEF Sea Camp: Andros

The Sea Camp will provide kids a fun, educational, and engaging summer experience. This year's theme is the 'International Year of the Reef (IYOR)' and camp participants will learn, see, and experience the Bahamian marine environment, with an in-depth look into what coral reefs are, their importance, the threats they face, and what can be done to reduce those threats.

Coastal Awareness Month

Coastal Awareness Month is designed to educate the community on the importance of protecting the environment and the coastline. Throughout the month of April,  Bahamians are educated about the islands' natural resources and sustainability. The Coastal Awareness Team cleans beaches, harbors and marinas.
