1 - 5 Aug
This festival is the signature family oriented event for Inagua and is homecoming event for former residents of the island.
This holiday, on the first Monday in August, celebrates the emancipation of slaves in the British colonies in 1834. It is celebrated with a Junkanoo Rush-out, a day of beaching, sailing, and regattas in most islands.
This festival will feature live band entertainment, a variety of games for the whole family, plus local food (with an emphasis on conch) and drinks for sale.
